The network of cross-country skiing trails in Kaiserwinkl consists of 252 km optimally groomed trails. Of these, 125.5 km are a classic and 127 km skating trails. Kaiserwinkl is one of the most popular cross-country and skating regions in Europe. There is something suitable for every cross-country skier, for beginners and for ambitious athletes equally. Two trails are snowsure thanks to snowfarming (= storage and preservation of artificial snow). Use of the trails in the holiday region and neighbouring Reit im Winkl region in Bavaria is free.
